History
In establishing his business, Laurent BAUD, carpenter and lawyer's clerk, never imagined he would become a hotel owner. His daughter Josette, hotelier and her husband Marius THORENS transformed their farm into a charming, small hotel. They opened the hotel in 1934 and it has grown over the years. Their youngest son, Michel opened the restaurant La Chamade, a mecca of gastronomy Morzine. It was their eldest son, Robert who took over the hotel in 1968. He then renovated the hotel in 1973. Since 1986, Michele, daughter of Robert, and her husband Franck BLANCHI who inherited the hotel, have retained its character and family charm. The woodwork and joinery of the living room, designed by Laurent BAUD, are memories of the ancient farm.
